This blog is for information regarding the Proposed Annexation of the community of Gravel Ridge, Arkansas. In November 2007, Jacksonville City Council voted to annex Gravel Ridge, and Jacksonville set their election date as February 5, 2008. Sherwood City Council met in December 2007, and voted to annex the exact same area, setting the Sherwood election date as March 11, 2008. ONLY Gravel Ridge voters will have the FINAL say on April 1. Gravel Ridge voters selected Sherwood.

Let's hope that we made the RIGHT choice...It will be interesting to see if we get more attention to paving our city streets and animal control from Sherwood than we did from Pulaski County.
