This blog is for information regarding the Proposed Annexation of the community of Gravel Ridge, Arkansas. In November 2007, Jacksonville City Council voted to annex Gravel Ridge, and Jacksonville set their election date as February 5, 2008. Sherwood City Council met in December 2007, and voted to annex the exact same area, setting the Sherwood election date as March 11, 2008. ONLY Gravel Ridge voters will have the FINAL say on April 1. Gravel Ridge voters selected Sherwood.

I will be voting for Sherwood April 1 - less taxes, improvements & money for the GR Fire Dept, better police patrols, and humane animal services. If we have to be one or the other, Sherwood is the way to go.
